Hey - I want to install my iPod dock into my car. The spot i have picked as the best place to do this is on a slope, so if i were to put the dock straight in, the combination of the slope in the car piece and the incline of the dock would put the iPod into the radio, which doesn't work. So I opened up the dock and there is a big chunk of metal (apparently zinc). Does anyone know if that is necessary for the dock, i.e. electric shielding etc, or is it just to add some weight to the dock?
