This is a tough one for me (hence the poll), but I'm torn between the Xbox and the Revolution. I think Nitendo has the right attitude with their "Its about the games" statement, but man XBOX has HALO2!!!
So right now, based on my addiction to halo, I am voting for the XBOX 360
Well as a Microsoft Hater but Absolute Xbox Lover, I have to vote for the 360. Halo 2 does rule, but you must play DOOM 3, its sick ass! The reason I choose Xbox, is because my Playstation only lasted 6 mos. and Nintendo really has gone to the lower aged demograhic. Also becuase the Xbox just plain kicks ass. -maestro
because I like sony's reliability, and the specs on it, I'd go for the PS3. I mean come on, Bluetooth controllers, 6 usb ports (4 front 2 back) 3 gigabit ethernet ports (it acts as a proxy do 2 of them are output) Integrated WI-Fi, PowerPC based CPU-need I say more?

Dont want to create a debate here, but Sony's reliability is not very good. Yes, i still buy some of their products because the are good when they work AND cost effective. As for power and expandability. The only difference is the amount of cores in the cpus-all system use powerpc chips. Yes the Xbox uses less cores but uses other chips to do the duties that the more cores in the PS3 do. Does that make sense. It will be interesting to see two of the most powerful companies in the world duke it out, and no one of them is not Nintendo. -maestro

Xbox 360 - Providing it has similar hackability as the original.. Fuglier than the original Xbox. Specs are kinda weak for a PPC running 3.2 anyways
PS3 - Have not purchased a PlayStation yet, and still better for it. Leaving it at that.
Revolution - Considering that the GC can play games that look just like their counterparts, why bother with the others? Also, they are going to allow home brew code on these. That's great and coupled with wireless capabilities, it's going to be solid.

My playstation 2 has treated me very well and lasted since it first came out (4 years ago?). Sure I'm no hardcore gamer but it has sure lasted. At the moment though I'm torn between Xbox and PS3, just have to see which is the first to have linux for it, and maybe OSX running through Mac on Linux...
