I have always been told that an 802.11b client connected to an 802.11g base station will slow the entire network down to 802.11b speeds. Is this true? The reason I ask is because the PowerMac I'm getting is 802.11g and I was wondering if there's any point to upgrade my wireless when the other 3 computers in the house are 802.11b

The wireless router should handle between the switching just fine. I'd imagine it's like switching from 10 to 100 or even 1000 for a router, except it's between 802.11b and 802.11g. Networking rocks!
