I have a Rev B Nvidia GeForce 4 that was purchased for a mac (pictured below) I got it form somebody that bought it, and couln't use it for free, but I was curious, since it is agp, could i use it in a pc? The board is extended simply for support, so I can chop that off if nessacery. If I need to move a few resistors around I am not great on fine soldering with my crappy soldering iron, so I would need to either buy a fine point one (possibly the cold heat) or get it done professionally. Does anybody know what I need to do to make it work?

So this is a Mac version. Yes it will work. If you flash it. You must flash it with PC firmware. The only reason it is so long is that it would get damaged in shipping without the extension. Wanna sell it instead? Im lookin. -maestro
Alright, But where can i find the firmware-i've looked for hours and can't seem to find it. Another question is, Is this card any more powerful then the Nvidia quddro 4 i'm running now? From what I understand, the quddro 4 is nothing more than a workstation versio of it.

I've heard that the cold heat breaks easily. Yoshi from the Screen Savers (back when TechTV was good...) bought one and broke it on the first mod he used it on. But that may have have just been that one—or just Yoshi. I can't remember any other specific instances (there were a couple…), but I've also seen good reviews.
I would say the quadro 4 is a better card. All workstation versions are designed for the high end. That is not to say that it is better for games though. I cant tell you for sure. Did you try Nvidias website? -maestro
