I have a Clamshell G3 iBook. When the battery died (I had about 25 minutes on it if I was lucky), I replaced it with a Newertech.
Now I get about 4 hours with reasonable use (using Airport, keeping the display at about half brightness, no CD ROM use), and I've gotten almost 5.5 hours (I didn't push it to find out, but it was well over 5 hours, probably could have pushed it a bit more) with minimal use (keeping display dim, no airport, running iTunes, a text editor, and a game while I was on a train ride).
I'm really happy with the battery, and would probably buy one from them again if I needed to, assuming this thing continues to perform as well as it has this past 6 or 7 months.
