hey folks. cool site. I first started looking around cause I am hungry for performance on my imac. I really love it like a child and dont want to move to another mac. not even a g5 imac! I have shoehorned a dvd writer in it and am now the scourge of blockbuster as my dvd collection continues to grow. I put in 1gb of ram so as to run panther at a decent speed. I am even finishing my own custom stand with integrated hard drive, illumination, microwave etc lol (will post a piccie when its perfect. I just really want to increase the speed of my processor. I heard it couldnt be done. I heard it shouldnt be done. I heard a lot of talk. I think it is just nonsens. I am sure that someone with a steady hand and balls of steel must have done it! they must have
OVERCLOCKED THEIR G$ FLATSCREEN IMAC!
I know it can be done. just somebody please tell me how.
If I was going to guess, I would say you have a Rev. A-D (1st Gen) iMac. If you could post what model you have, that would help us help you. Also glad you are making a custom stand, can't wait to see it!
