I'm Planning to install a 1st generation eMac logic board into a PowerMac 6100 case I have lying around.
I am going to use an ATX Power Supply, but I need the voltage pinout information of the Down converter Board connector, which is placed at the edge of the logic board near the processor.
This connector is "similar" to the one used in the iMacs, but with 4 less pins.
I have the voltage pinout for an iMac, but as the connector is different I cannot use this information with my eMac board.
Video out will be done through the internal connector because this eMac logic board performs the same connector as the iMac, and so I will be able to use the internal video signal without using video mirroring.
I encourage anyone with an eMac or with access to one, just to measure this voltages and post this information here, because I cannot find this information by myself (dead analog board).
As for the Case mod, it is almost finished, only waiting for this information to arrive ;-). I'll post it as soon as I know how to connect my eMac logic board to an ATX PSU.
The Specs of this "New Powermac 6100 G4" will be: - 700 Mhz G4 Processor @ 100 Mhz FSB (¿?overclock up to 933 Mhz @ 133 Mhz FSB). - 512 Mb PC133 SDRAM (1 DIMM). - Following Drives configuration: -- 1st IDE Channel: 40 Gb HD @ 7200 rpm and Pionner DVR-105. -- 2nd IDE Channel: RAID system (using Mac OS X Mirroring Mode) with 2x250 Gb HD @7200 rpm, as it will be a file server. - nVidia Geforce2-MX with 32 Mb DDR SDRAM.
I hope that somebody provides this pinout info, because it will be a really well performer system into a small & wonderfully designed case.
Here's a pic where the connector is placed in the logic board:
Cant help you with your connector, but, as for your RAID setup...Its usually best to use two HD controllers for RAIDs. It will probably work using both on one ATA cable but you may get some corruption problems and it will be very slow. What about putting them in FW400 cases and running them that way. Sounds like you are gonna have a cool file server, be sure to post some pics. -maestro

I spent a good time @ work today trying to hunt down those voltages, even looking through service manuals and emailing people. Unfortunatly, at this time, I don't have access to an eMac or I'd crack one open for you.
It may be a deal where you will have to wait for some kind soul to either get those voltages, or find a board yourself and test it and post those pinouts.
I tried.

thanks for your interest. I asked for these voltages at the Apple Center in my town, but the guy that was there was not "interested" on giving this information, even with an open 1st generation eMac he had over the "surgery table" . I will try again with the other technician, because I think I still can get this info from there.
If you get this information sooner, please let me know it. If you get info on voltages of 2nd or 3rd generation eMacs, send it. And if you find this info about the 1st generation one, I'll send you some of the best spanish beers I can find by air mail
I'm planning on resurrecting a 700MHz eMac with and ATX Power Supply and an Apple VGA Display Adapter (as I'm not sure where the VGA pins are on the logic board).
I'd like to keep the Down Converter per Leo Bodnar's Headless eMac , but I'm concerned about his providing only 12V in placed where 20V are used.
As for pinouts, here's what I found as reported by guylan on MacRumors forum :
-- 700mhz Gen1 Bind-mate connectors and Down Converter Pinouts!! Ok I bought a 700mhz mac off of eBay to just get these voltages!!!
ok here are the updated Blind-Mate pin outs with the proper polarizations...
