Hi I'm looking to do a Mac to PC mod as I love the look of G4 MDD case, but unfortunately until Mac's have the gaming opions of PC's I won't be just going Mac inside and out After examining pics of the cases... I see the MDD back panel has it's ports and Card slots reversed from ATX boards. Where the Quicksilver appears to have normal placement. So what I was wondering was if anyone knows if the front panels can be swapped? As I plan to pick up one of the new Apple Cinema LCD's and was inspired by the Blue Ice G4 Case mod I saw on another site.
They are interchanable with some slight modifications. Why not just use a QS case, I think they are sweet, and you can mod it to use to optical drive like the MDD. I understand you liking the MDD case though, I have one and put a window in my desks computer space so it could be seen. Why hide something so sweet looking? -maestro
