Okay, now I want to start and say I do not have a g5. I was wondering if the processors are interchangable in them. I know the power supplies and bus speeds are different, but has anyone thought about this? I know where to get all of the parts. Any info to keep the wheels turnin would be cool. -Maestro
When the G5 processor first came out, I read that because of inherent differences in the architecture of the G4 and G5 logic boards and chip tech that there would not be a way to make an upgrade compatible with G4 computers.
