I just got a B&W G3 and I would really appreciate some info on how to take the plastic side panels off without messing the case up, it appears to me that there is something which connects the plastic to the metal under case located under the logo. But thats all I've figured out as of yet, I'd really like more info before I start to mess around. Thanks

Yes, you are correct. It is a pressure tab that is located in the middle of the panel. The easiest way to remove it, without possibly damaging the panel, is by removing the logic board and pushing the tabs from the inside. It will pop right out if the screws have been removed from the case.
I do have an OK take apart built into my Mod Guide posted here if you need assistance.
