Oh sure. Just to feed that impulse, whenever I have old electronics that is hitting the trash pile, I always break out the soldering iron and take off any parts (ESPECIALLY LEDs) that might be useful later. But that's a rare occasion because I tend to never throw things away. You never know when something will come in handy for a mod project later!

I built a sensor kinda like a glass break that is connected to PCB that I built that makes a bolt move back and forth and hits the door creating a knocking sound. So when ever theres a knock it knocks back 1.5 seconds later.
