Does anyone else find this article a little funny considering the iPod is made in taiwan?

seriously, though, this kind of thing does not supprise me anymore. ironic, yes. but supprising, no.

well I mean that its made there and it debuted in a nation of 23 million but only 100 on hand???!!

But for an actual comment, that was pretty messed up. Did ship them from Taiwan to Apple, then back to Taiwan? But to poke some more fun into this article, this line was pretty good:

" The iPod mini is the world's smallest portable music player."

Whoever did that research must have been misinformed. Then in the same article they mention flash-based mp3 players. Now, what's going on here? With this kind of journalism going on, either we have ourselves a bad translation of everything, or they literally had only 100 in the store? Well, I did some digging. Here is what I came up with:

But after that, and ending up at other sites for the TaiPei Times, I gave up. So 100 must be the true number. Well, all I have to say is What the Heck? You don't release 100 of anything in a country, of any size (even the Vatican). That's like a peep show.
