Where are you from? What your hobbies? What kind of music do you listen to? Take a moment to introduce yourself to the Mac Modders in the forum with a brief intro (don't feel pressured to do so if you don't want to).
My name is Anthony King, I live in nashville TN (murfreesboro if you know the area) and work at Middle TN State Univ. Im a totally mac freak, but not really a computer geek. If its new and cool I probably have it and definitely want it. I just graduated college (Mercer university in Macon GA) and now I do marketing for a very large management services company. My colors are purple, green, and gold. Nah just kidding, thats the colors of my fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha (if yur a brother of LCA holla back). I really like Navy Blue and Silver. I love cars - and I drive what I love: an Audi A6 (its navy blue). Graphics design and Video production are favorite pasttimes of mine, as is Volleyball and working out. You will never find me without my cell, my mini (its silver), and my visa.
Don't make me be the only one who posts their BIO!!!! Don't be shy, introduce yurself.
My name is Jacob Thomason, I am from Georgia, but I am in Australia right now doing a study abroad. As for music, I listen to it all, classic rock to classical to rap, you name it, except ska. I love my mac, and the mac community. I am studying International Marketing and Management in college and will graduate in December. And, I love MacMod!

my name is actually whitlock. i used to work at a mac store that did some pretty crazy stuff, like rebuild monitors and mod cases so boards would fit in other systems. good times. i finally left that place to work for an isp. it's a good job, and works for me. i've worked with mac hardware for a few years through a strict business relationship. i specialize in beige g3, iMac, and g4 towers, though the new g5's are too new to play with due to the damn applecare. well, other than that, there's not much more i'd say.

My name is Jonathan (it's a pet peeve of mine, it's not John or Jonathon or Jonno, but Jon or Jonathan), and I'm from New England. I'm a rising high school junior, and I sail (which I also teach over the summer), ski (I'm on my school's ski team), and code (PHP/MySQL, a bit of perl, a bit of Cocoa). I met my first mac when I was 4 years old my Dad's LC, which was loaded with Reader Rabbit, MathBlaster, and a bunch of other really old educational software (I think I still have most of it). My elementary school was also strictly mac, so I guess that was probably a bit of an influence too . I do a lot of troubleshooting for my High School, and in a week from tomorrow will be a licensed CCNA. A few years ago, I found myself with a lot of old computers that were being thrown away where my dad works, and took as much as I could carry (a 7200, PB1400, and PBG3/233 Lombard). The latter two became recent mods of mine .
I have an index of all of my mods on my .mac site and plan to write them up and post them here in the upcomming weeks.
And here's a picture of me hiked out in my sunfish on a windy day.
[*]Live in Santa Cruz, CA area. [*]Used Macs for almost 15 years. [*]I do graphic and web design, or am trying to. Currently out of work; volunteering in exchange for rent. [*]Prefer rock, alternative, and classic rock music. [*]Own a '66 Ford Mustang; as well as a brand new 2004.5 Volvo S40 2.4i [*]Haven't done much modding, but is an interest and am looking forward to further mod posts to learn from and gain ideas. [*]I do very little dabbling in model cars. [*]I own almost 400 Matchbox cars and have been collecting since I was 6 y.o.
My name's Ollie. I live in Wellington, New Zealand. I've never modded anything before (does pulling apart a PB 3400 and 540c count? - they're now dead). I'm interested in getting my hands on a B+W G3 for my first project, they're cool machines with lots of potential - plus it'll give the missus something to play The Sims on (and get her off my ibook).
Edit: Oops forgot to talk about music, hobbies etc. I guess people would say I like metal. My favourite bands are Tool, A Perfect Circle, maybe older Metallica. Hobbies have gone out the window a bit recently as I'm busy studying for my honours degree.

My name is Karl Hehr, and I am apparently one of the older folks round here (25). I live in Ames, IA. I have been using a Apple/Mac for as long as I can remember, still have the old IIc and IIe I played with as a lad. I currently own 5 Apple/Mac computers includein my pride and joy, my G5. I also have an iPod and the wife has a mini. I am the quintasential computer geek and am proud of it. I hope that I will soon be able to add some successful mods to my unsuccessful ones. Tired the Airport fix and mod for the old silver airports and since I am horrible a soldering I just fried it. and I modded an apple mic into a WWF mic that I had as a toy, it worked for awhile but eventually died. I love any kind of music that is not country. I enjoy spending time with my wife and will soon have a son (Aug 20). There is much more to say,but the post is already a little long winded. If you are really interested I can post more.... Oh yeah a new Apple store opens in Iowa (first one) very soon and I already have plans to get in line!
