I think the eMac is one of the most clean none-complicated designed computers around, if it had a slotloading drive I wouldn´t change a thing. The config I bought was suitable for me, 1,25, 1GB, 80 Gb, BlueTooth, Airport Xtreme, tilt & swivel... and the fastest stock superdrive. I´ve got a computer with a lot of horsepower for a buck, but a very expensive hairdryer though. I think top-of-class is nerdy, like the twin-powered PowerMac...
Well, concerning the fact that the eMac casing is indeed painted from the inside. This must be a fact!! When I inspected my eMac 1,25 around the corners, there was something about how the light was curved around the mic-hole and around the speakers... if the plastic was all white, then there would not be such a phenomena would there? O yes, if the plastic was composed of two layers, but that sounds to complicated..? Or?
