First of all, as always thank you for keeping up a place here. It must be a delicate thing to attract and maintain a community and I (as well as plenty of other people) appreciate the effort.
I do have a suggestion though and I know it's on a touchy topic, so please take this simply for what it is, a suggestion. I think you are dividing up your audience an awful lot. If you look at the numbers on each forum, there are a bunch that are totally underutilized compared to others.
Now, it's not fair to compare them to the general discussion forums, but why split up your audience/community on networking topics across three separate forums? Now that hardware and software sometimes replace each other functions, does it make sense to separate them? What about all of the iTunes/iPod/AppleTV-related forums?
I'd bet you could consolidate a lot of forums without hurting the forum variety.
Anyhow, it's not a big deal. I'll try to click around a little more and not be lazy about expecting threads to come to me. Take care.

Ok. I run two forums of my own, so I think I'm qualified. If you ever need me to help work on something, Just let me know! I may be young, but I know what I'm doing when it comes to forum Moderation/administration!
And as good as that is, it was made even better by what Neil said earlier ~
I do not expect any changes to forums like Stan's Lounge, which in my mind, is a permanent memorial to Stan.
So many of y'all knew Stan longer and better, but still. Gives one serious pause, to think and remember . . . Ultra classy, and while we'll never forget Stan, we need to always remember what Neil and his peeps made possible.
