Our ancient VHS-C camcorder bit the dust, and we never really used it much anyway as it was pretty cumbersome. Take videos on the digital camera, but would like something more dedicated, but don't really wanna spend $800 or so for a new digital HD camcorder right now, maybe in a year or two we'll get a nice one.
I was thinking of getting a flip video, they've got two HD models (720p) both are about $200. Plus I like they just flip out a USB plug, and they'll upload direct to facebook and such. For what we'd use it for (mainly stupid videos of the dog) I think it'd be perfect, even though it's only 720p.
Anybody have one?

I got this from the dog email list and thought you might like to see an unbiased opinion.
I had to test out a FLIP camera for work, so used Ax as my model today and took a few movie clips and then used the software (rather limited) to create a movie. You can see it at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4o8afrRvLE
Note my boy is not on leash and very well behaved. Isn't our park glorious in the Fall?
