I'n trying to install the Beautiful Garbage mixer app on my tibook to play with when I'm bored, but when it gets to the final steps it says something about a system folder is required and it quits. How do I fix this?

I'm assuming that since it is an OS 8 or newer app, you'll have to install it while booted into OS 9. The installer is complaining that it cannot find the OS 9 System Folder, because you're installing while booted into X 10.3.

Is there any way I can make it run in Classic? Because I did some research and found out that my TiBook will not boot from OS 9.1 and it doesn't want to update.

Oh, there must have been a firmware update so that it will boot with OS 9? My memory doesn't serve me well. I do remember doing a couple of firmware updates to my G4 tower, but that was long ago.
