Blimey, I've just used my WinXP in Parallels for the first time since I installed Snow Leopard, and it's quite a bit faster - especially the suspend/restore. Nice. I'm trying to see if installing iTunes on it means I can use a 3rd party win-only app to jailbreak my iPhone again cool - pretty please - I want all my lovely extras back. The Apple site's really slow today - I'm getting iTunes at around 20kbps out of my available 145.

Hmm - this thread belongs on 3 different subfora! Behold, I am a Hydra!!

If you're planning on upgrading to W7, be aware of the problem that Parallels says it does not yet support W7. Oh, it will install alright, but the virus protection program by Kaspersky will not load. They told me they were working on it.

I'm now updated to Parallels v5 on my new iMac, and I finally have a large enough screen to use the 'large fonts' option - and the screen is still goddamn enormous. It always makes me laugh seeing winxx in wide screen smile. And WinXP loads up in around 5 seconds flat. Mad stuff. No more need for a Bootcamp partition.
