It was just your phrasing. I thought it funny it sounded like you called me honey. I know that you know that I am a dude and we are both happily married with dogs. ;-O
And I like baseball too which is why I must bid adieu. Go Sox. Got tickets for Monday's game. Whoo hoo.

And Keymaker's last post which he was entirely shat upon was about McChrystal's great and stupid idea of ordering 40,000 more of our infantry into Afghanistan. I find many of Keymaker's thread starters irritating but many times they make me think of the other viewpoint. For instance how it would be like to be a Palestinian living in the Gaza strip. I would hate Israelis as much as I hate Al Queda if I lived there. Keymaker brings that irritating viewpoint to the soapbox. We need that minority viewpoint.
Can't seem to think of any that he has started about religious truths or scriptures.
[edit] Sorry, now I get it. But it was not science verses scripture at the time. It was heresy vs the known truth at the time. Sort of like Keymaker's posts. Keymaker is shouted down spouting heresy against the majority opinion. That is exactly what was done to Galileo. There is no difference.
This is where we disagree
I lump "km" into the religious end into that Galileo spectrum - he claims heresy -vs- scientific . In short it is km only point of view is the correct one - all other scientific POVs posted by others are considered heresy by km
Good example look at the thread where "Sarg" posted 4 videos about Taliban atrocities right there in full view and in color <-- km came back with calling the truth "propaganda"
I think you have it backwards , Galileo is the forum - km is the representative of a single point of view = religion

No, that's factually incorrect. The propaganda charge was directed at your list of Taliban drawbacks which preceded Sarge's post. I pointed out that it reflected propaganda for it's slant and terminology and for failing to draw attention to US atrocities so as to present a balanced viewpoint. This is frequently how the circle jerks begin - with you trying to deny or distort the truth even of what's on record for everyone to see.

Actually everything carp pointed out in that list is fairly well documented on the taliban, much of it through video evidence through news stories like those I linked to.
Atrocities against women? check, plenty of video evidence and activist web sites. You should join one, unless you hate women.
Rule through fear of death and violence? Check, plenty of video evidence.
Public executions? Hell yeah, that's what a soccer field is good for. Make sure you use a dull knife on their throat and linger on the spurting blood and sinew. Video is gorier than Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween. Wanna see that one, or any of the other dozens too?
Do we really need to continue the circle jerk about the Taliban? After all I think you're the one who asked what's so bad about the dark ages. Seems like you really dig them. Kind of odd, considering they don't take to civilized law kindly, and came into power rather illegally. If England's system is "mature" as you say, they're not even a fertilized embryo yet.

I'm not denying the truth of the videos because I didn't need to play them but since he was suggesting that US intervention was preferable to what the Taliban were getting up to his list showed bias by omitting reference to equivalent US actions and by its one-sided terminology .

Classic example of your circle jerk technics

equivalent ? ? ? ?
I did not know that the Coalition beat women in the streets , execute women in soccer fields , burn down schools , throw acid on female faces , shoot women in the night just by pure accusations of prosecutions ? ?

What equivalent are you talking about ?
Well, things like murdering women and children with indiscriminate drone and rocket strikes, abducting, torturing and murdering defenceless civilians, raping minors at gunpoint, torturing a person's person with a scalpel - things like that.
