What are you so afraid of? Worried you'll find some band you like better?
Are you worried that word will get back to Shirley, and that she won't send you any more private messages through the car radio?
Seriously, though...I thought it was old people who had the lock on not having progressive, adventurous musical tastes? JSYK, I'm 50, and I still take the time to seek out cool new bands and artists. Sure, there are bands I fell in love with when I was a kid that I still really like, but why should I let that stop me from enjoying other stuff?
Do you worry that if you eat at Wendy's that McDonalds might become offended?
Sounds pretty silly, eh?
