I just got a cell phone call from my sister, about 30 miles away. Blackberry phone, SF Bay Area. The reception was AWFUL. She's blames all her problems on Apple and the iPhone. "The iPhones are gobbling up all the bandwidth" For all you non-iPhone ATT users, is this true? Have you had worse reception since iPhones debut?

LOL a thousand times over! No, I'm not joking. She is a definitive Windows PC person and can't stand ANYTHING Apple. Yes, she does blame the iPhone for all her reception problems. I guess she doesn't remember how crappy our phone calls were before.
Personally, i can't stand cell phones and don't own one. What's the point of deciphering every third word in a conversation? (I especially love clients who call on their phone while on the road).

There was an article about AT&T , dropped connections yada yada
Mainly was about customers in large cities , eg like NY and LA in areas that are surrounded by tall buildings = them skyscrapers . Sorta makes sense , line of sight is disrupted and the interference of radio / TV you name it and all the other kinds of crap on top of the tall buildings .
Anyway AT&T is working on installing more crap on top of those tall buildings , when they can find the space to do so
