Day before yesterday on NPR, and that same night on TRMS, Ridge was taken apart like a cheap watch. There is backpedaling, and then there is crawling up your own ass and hiding in your waste. Yeah, not a very appetizing picture, but I can't think of any other way to express how disgusting Ridge's pathetic cow-towing is. He actually makes the Bush administration look like the freakin' Mafia: the stoolie now has a contract on his head. Will he turn up in the Meadowlands with a dead pigeon stuffed in his mouth?
If you're going to go all Paul O'Neil, on George W. Bush, you really ought to go all the way. Don't go half way and then backtrack like you have a career in future Republican Administrations to worry about.
Tom Ridge's tenure was about twice as innovative as a bag of skittles. Was he also partially responsible for ready.gov? That thing was a laugh riot when it first came out.
