The President encouraging children to study and get good grades = Hitler Youth The importance of a good education = Socialist/Fascist/Communist Indoctrination.
These people are outraged that an hour of public school time devoted to a message from the President to promote education is mind control, propaganda, and an evil influence on our children to hate America. FoxNews is milking it for all it's worth.
Looking forward now to these "real Americans" showing up at public schools on Tuesday with their assault rifles and Obama as Hitler signs.
The fear and loathing of a black man in the White House has brought about the violent death of truth, reason, and civil discourse. I really am afraid of where this might go. The lunatic fringe may indeed be on the edge, but I see the edge shrinking inward at a good clip.
Heard this on Ed Schultz's show... this is insane...
The far righties are lunatics... the President speaks and 'NO!! . . don't let the kids hear him - they'll be "brain washed" !! If they take after their parents - there's NOTHING to wash ! You can't wash a vacuum ! (that's why you hear a great sucking sound when they open their mouths !!)
That is Pathetic and petty! If I were a school teacher, I'd say too F-ing bad... grow the F UP you fascist pigs !!
PS and Carp don't pick on Bush because he was reading an upside down book !! He thought he was reading Arabic !!
I just wonder if Bush had tried this a couple of years back, how many folks here would be up in arms?!
