Well, I keep filing applications and resumes and I get no replies at all. Not even a thanks, but no thanks.
From what I read, this is so common...I think they should at least acknowledge your efforts and heck, they were the ones soliciting the applications.
After reading about peoples' benefits running out...what do families/people do when all of the money is gone?
Oh...way to go Lesh...and I did not know you were still single. I am getting used to the dating thing myself..first few were duds but my fingers are crossed for the one I have my fourth date with Saturday.
That is incredibly great news, Leslie! Smart companies are taking advantage of the present economy to position themselves for growth, so it seems like you're on a winning team this time! Congratulations!
4:59PM on Friday before Labor Day weekend. Now that's a good start to the weekend. Congratulations!.
Kind of reminds me of calling the Federal District Attorney's office at 4:59PM on Labor Day weekend many moons ago. They had sent me a letter explaining how since I had not registered for the draft I was to call and find out where in Vietnam I was to be sent or what Federal prison I was to be sent to. (I'm paraphrasing a bit.) They all went home by noon so I had to wait the long weekend to find out my destiny. You'll have more fun than I did but I tried. The letter was a great pickup line as she felt so sorry for me. Ended up hungover on a sailboat on the Vinyard with no phone on Tuesday. ;-O
