i ordered it from the Apple store, but i am thinking of canceling if i can and just going to the local Apple Store on the day of. then again, Apple often upgrades these shipments to overnight so we get the shipment on the day it's available in the local stores. hmmmm.

Ditto this -- cancelled mine when I realized the time spent waiting for delivery could be spent going into the store, getting the disk, going home, installing, and then spending the weekend doing something else ;-)
