Great photo for a hot August release. Since 10.1 I have always just hit the upgrade button. With this stripped down, no PPC code in this OS, I think for the first time I am going to do a clean wipe the disk out to all zeroes and install. My MacBook Air has gotten slow as a dog, or at least Safari has so that one sure needs it.

Maybe get a bigger drive installed which is probably causing most of the slowness since it is pretty full.

Will an Apple Computer Store swap a MBA drive out at the store? is there a non costly SSD drive at say, 120GB yet?

Damn, that cat looks good! The specs read pretty hot, too.

Edit: Can you imagine the OS envy on the PC Weenie side of the fence?

How does this upgrade work? If you have Leopard it is only 29 bucks. But do you get only an upgrade disk or do you get a full install disk? I want to clean my hard drive of everything and do a full install. I hate upgrade only disks. It means if anything goes wrong you have to do a two step install.

From the ordering page it looks like to get a full disk you also have to buy iLife and iWork for a 169 total. I have both of those already. I guess I could use another copy but it would be nice to be able to get a copy of just snow leopard complete by itself.
