Didn't know that FedEX would let you ride along with them just kidding You have to get into the whole buying experience and show up at the Apple Store wearing a snow leopard costume and then buy buy buy
Ditto this -- cancelled mine when I realized the time spent waiting for delivery could be spent going into the store, getting the disk, going home, installing, and then spending the weekend doing something else ;-)
just tried. ah well:
Your item(s) have already been prepared for shipment, so they cannot be cancelled. However, once they ship, you may be able to make a return from the Order details page.
Technically the data could come back to haunt you but only if the FBI got ahold of it and wanted to spend the time unerasing the disk. But people who worry about that also don't use ATM cards, EZ-Pay transponders, credit cards or get subscriptions to the New York Times on -line. Aluminum foil wrapped Moonbats in other words.
And child porn people.
With cats.

I'm fortunate in that I have two Apple stores within 10 minutes of me; three within 20 ;-)
So I wonder if this is going to be the standard wait-in-humongous-line-while-passersby-look-strangely-at-you deals ... the hype just doesn't seem to be as huge as, say, a full version release ...
Someone posted somewhere in these snow leopard threads that if you bought a Mac after June 9 you would get snow leopard for $9.95. Where is that post and can someone provide a link to the official announcement of that pricing?
Trying to coax a new buyer down to the store but need proof. Funny, but a search on "june" doesn't get the right hit. Maybe I imagined it.
