My first reaction to Microsoft's Thursday announcement that it will release a new version of its Office suite for the Mac in 2010 can be summed up in one word: Why?
It's hard to fathom why MS so dependably slams nails into its own coffin these daze. Who knows, maybe somebody, someday, will teach a business class ~ MS 101: Business Models and the Titanic.
Edit: I couldn't figure out where to post this one, so it'll be kinda fun to see where it ends up. Move me, baby.

Be interesting since MS cannot sell Word in the next 60 days , well 60 days is to stop selling and then stop . Much like the Nokia and MS deal for MS Office on their phones ? Nada
