I read that 65% of people don't even know the difference between a netbook let alone between a laptop . Which corispons with people in this forum who wants to buy a netbook = crippled laptop

Yup.... Example: "John, how wrong you are. First I am one of the biggest anti-mac people you will ever meet. And why, very simple... THE MAC OS IS STILL A CONFUSING, PRETENTIOUS, ANNOYING, CONVOLUTED, UNORGANIZED piece of crap!!"
I'm still trying to get my head around how a bottle of wine can be pretentious, never mind a computer.
I suspect in this case what s/he really means is 'aesthetic'. I have to use winxp in parallels for a couple of apps I have, and I'm always struck by how ugly the interface is, and hard to read compared to the same apps in OSX (I'm stuck using them in winxp because the mac versions are poorly written and mess up my system with bad flash nonsense etc. - Oxford English Dictionary, for example - and it's actually faster to 'resume' an xp session than to switch between OSX users!).
