I just listened to her whole speech. Damned if I could figure out why she is doing this! I mean I know she said she could do more on the outside -- bunch of bull -- but the real reasons escaped me.
Seems to me she thought people/press picked on her incessantly!
Seems to me, she had too many problems that AK officials spent too much time and money on investigating her crap!
What struck me really dumb was as she talked about 'adults who picked on Trig' she said the world needed MORE Trig's! Duh! The world needs more scientific research to prevent births/lives like Trig. . .
They get their mom back and can fade away to a more normal life. John McCain should have never picked her in the first place. Then we would have never heard of her and she could have had a happier end.
"It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness."
She is running for president in 2012. The GOP machine can insulate her from the media and create their own bubble as they did in the McCain campaign. She wants to avoid any damage from a Governor's race where she'll have to debate, answer questions, and possibly not gather the support she believes she has.
How in world she thinks she might survive a GOP primary with repeated debates with the likes of Newt or Romney who obviously want her out of the spotlight ... well, only FoxNews will be able to save her and "candidate" Palin will be a regular on Hannity and Greta ten times the amount what happened last Fall.
