My best bet would be the Apple store , maybe call and reserve one ?
Looks like Apple and At@T learned a lesson from the last time . Taking pre-orders and 3.0 available 2 days ahead really help to cut down the mad rush on opening day .
Pre-ordered at AT&T because of account issues last Sat - they told me 7-14 days.
Got email Thursday - phone was in...
I went in early (6 AM) and then took off work at 2 PM, went by and it took about 20-30 min to get it and out the door. They were busy ! . . . course not all were iPhone orders, but many were.
Haven't used it long enough to comment... I had to come home and sync my phone = they couldn't do it at the AT&T store becasue I upgraded my software to 3.0... guy told me their software wasn't upgraded yet to handle it ...
I've got three Apple stores I can hit on the way to work on Monday. I guess I will just call around and talk to a live person before I go. There is no way to tell from the web site if the stores have phones. I have filled out the application. All I have to do is show up. You cannot reserve one as far as I can tell.

If Apple 'connects' with Verizon, I'd be more than happy to switch and get an iPhone. But as it stands right now, AT&T is not on my 'favorite carriers' list.
I never have the video camera with me and it's always a pain to record something import it.. then edit it and size it and upload it. Hence, before today, I have never put anything on YouTube.
This camera makes it stupid simple.
We have a 7 month old living with us.. her name is Julianne. Here she is shopping with us at Publix.
I tried out the "Find my iPhone" feature available thru your MobileMe account and it works as well as expected. Meaning that GPS is only going to get you so close...and then you send it a signal and it makes a chirping sound. All fine and dandy except that Apple says it will make the sound even in Silent Mode. I'm sure it does. But, I was at the vets with a sick dog twice this weekend and once they left me with our file. I was using the camera to snap pics of all their blood work and other documentation. ( for no reason other than to have references when researching). Any-hoo... I turned down the sound so they couldn't hear the "camera snap" down the hall.
When I tried the iPhone signal feature for when it's lost.. it vibrated... but no sound came out since I had manually turned it down. Apple needs to let this signal override user settings.
