... that's what all the blowhards are yammering about today because of one poll ... and because Bill Maher was critical and said Obama should act more like Bush ... that is, entitled & arrogant, to ram his policy through. One poll has Obama "sinking" to 56% and these guys have Palin in the Oval Office.
Here's Obama's approval trend ... "man the lifeboats!"
I haven't been critical of him, I have said I will give him a chance, but his lack of response to Iran has shown a serious lack of nads. Also the deal with possibly taxing people's health care benefits they receive from employers is total BS. And as a small business person, even though I don't hit the mark unfortunately, his plans to whack those making over $250,000 is a kick in the crotch to entrepreneurs. I thought he was going to whack the wealthy, not the base that makes up 60 percent of all jobs, he went back on his word. Not looking promising for the Savior, seems you that voted for him were all lied to, same as the old boss.
I'll still sit back and watch for now, but since you brought it up...
... but his lack of response to Iran has shown a serious lack of nads
Besides his rightwing critics on Fox and John McCain, every comment from foreign policy "experts" -both diplomatic and military - have been saying Obama has played it exactly right. Watching many ex-pat Iranian media & political types interviewed on CNN, they say so too.
Many of the FoxNews necon commentators have stated their desire for Ahmaindejad to succeed. If Obama had taken a more ardently pro-Mousavi line then the Iranian regime, Bill Kristol and Charles Krauthammer would have the "Imperialist American Influence" banner wrapped around not only around President Obama, but also every dead and bleeding Mousavi supporter.

"... "man the lifeboats!""
Is that women and children first, as is customary, or what?
Do we populate the boats with a fair and balanced selection of Americans, and what would that look like? Who among us gets to decide?
Do we consider the color of their skin? A couple of whites, a couple of blacks, a couple of browns, etc.? Who gets to decide?
Do we consider their marital status? Do married couples receive preferential treatment over single people? Who decides?
Do we consider their personal wealth? Can you buy a seat? Who gets the money?
Considering gays can’t reproduce, do we leave them out altogether? Who decides?
Do we further consider each persons chances for survival by testing them before we put them in the boat? Leave the retards to drown? Or do we show compassion by bringing them with us following in a little yellow dingy? Who decides?
What would jesus do? What does it matter, he’d be hanging from the yard-arm along with David Letterman.
Anyone who believes this, or any administration can solve all our problems is delusional.
The biggest impediment to a "more perfect Union" is people!
