So Liberty University founded by Jerry Falwell has decided that a student Democratic club does not fit the guidlines of the university.

since they are a private school I suppose they can do what they want but in reading some of the comments one has it right. By denying free thought how can it be called a university?

I guess the definition of "liberty" is a lot different in their dictionaries.

Well the state can remove their accreditation, or force them NOT to be called a University.

But I agree, religion is NOT open-minded...or support free thought, or even very forgiving in many cases

... hence Darwin is cursed... Copernicus and Galileo were cursed . . . . . science is cursed...

And all done tax free because Democratic hating Christians is a real religion. That is the part that makes my blood curdle. They can do whatever they want in their enclave of stupid bigotry. For a taste just hunt down the Falwell verbiage spewed out the day after 9/11. It saves the rest of us by sequestering stupid in their own casspool and who cares if they call it a University as the Grads can flip burgers at McDonalds with or witout the diploma.

But we shouldn't be paying for it by paying their taxes.

That is the most absurd thing I've ever read (and it's anti-Christian).

Well we had one back in Texas called Inquisition U !!

All their graduates got jobs in the Bush Administration !!
