Well, you don't have to look far to find "Those People". Like Bryan's "BuckWheat" avatar, MoJo obviously thought the "Uppity Carpet Muncher" and "Babwa" cracks would be allowed to pass, and perhaps even draw an uncomfortable laugh like it used to back in "The Good Old Days".
I just felt like making a point about the Ginned-Up Outrage we've all been forced to wallow in for the past few months.
I always thought Whoopi was a loud mouthed racist anyway, but when she tried to rationalize Michael Vic's behavior with "from where he comes from in the South, dogfighting isn't that unusual," that cemented my opinion of her.
There are different standards for humane behavior between the south and north, black and white? Not in my book.
I wouldn't take any stock in her opinion, she promotes racism, and her opinion is dangerous to a civilized society, too bad she has so much press.
I happen to think Whoppi is immensely talented, but I limit my viewing to her "comedy" routine & don't even know what channel the "View" airs on.
As far as her being a racist, deal with it. There's a WHOLE LOT of bottled up Black Resentment they'll be working through for some time to come, if that comes off as "Uppity" that in itself is part of the problem. I'm afraid it'll take some soul-searching to begin to understand where THEIR attitude came from.
BTW Those "Nappy Headed Ladies" graduated from the same University I did. Rutgers: Newark Campus.
I like Whoopie. I think she is funny and has had some good movies and her stand up when she was young was good.
Still, not sure why this makes her an expert on political views. No more then my next door neighbor. I have seldem watched the View and then not the whole show.
both that show and Glen Becks show is all about the program and not about any accuracy in reporting or what not. It's all entertainment. Like Hannity and Rush and what not. That's my opinion. i could be wrong. And if I am it's not big whoopie (not to be confused with Goldberg)
If we don't count our blessings We are just wasting our time
