Todays Apple email says they are only available at Apple now. That could be for a particular version. I do notice at least one difference between the one on their site and Apples.. the switch for which battery you wanna drain.

Apples site.. in 3 colors.

The makers seems to come in two tone black and green only.

And Apples is hard plastic.. not rubbery like the makers original.

I also noticed Apples energy consumption times are more conservative than the manufacturers... Apples estimates are only 75% of the makers.

I plan on a new iPhone in June prolly.. this might be a nifty item to add on.

99 bucks WoW , Apple version 79 bucks , there are others out there in the 49 buck range

And backed by Apple?

It is expensive. So is the iPhone.
