I believe that you can for a limited period of time, and then you can't. The idea is that it has to be done by the author themselves.

I normally spot those right after I post , so not to much time passes less then a minute most times. Whats the time limit ? MM used to be 24 hours if I remember correctly then your locked out from changes

I thought it was about an hour or an hour and a half, not sure as I've been given access to the magic fairy dust which enables us to edit or delete whenever.

The FAQ's say something about it, but are leaving out 1 bit of crucial info.

Users can edit their own posts up to minutes after they are made. Where the change is substantial, it is courteous mark the post as edited so as to alert readers to the changed content. For cosmetic changes, it's better not to do so.

Seems it's minutes to edit a post. laugh

Neil needs to fill in the blank.
