I have 230MB downloaded now...almost finished.

Apple's servers must be swamped. I'm getting time out errors via SU. OK. Got a connection - sloooooow (as in dialup slow). I might abandon this and wait until tomorrow. SU is saying 4 hours to dl this. Ooops! Just timed out again. I'll try tomorrow AM.

Getting the combo update in less than 20 minutes.

Got it on both iMacs. intel iMac updated fast...G4 iMac is way slow in updating.

Nah! Bleeding edge for me! In a month or two, we'll have Snow Leopard anyway.

Downloaded the combo, installed, clicked "Restart." I've been watching the blue screen with the spinning gear for about ten minutes. The gear appears for a few seconds and then disappears for a few seconds and reappears for a few seconds. Seems to be in a loop. Should I wait it out or go for a hard shutdown and restart?

Downloaded the 730MB Combo Update - took about 2 minutes. Haven't installed yet. Waiting to read about all the "issues" first. I also downloaded the Safari 4 beta update.

I'll wait a month or two for Snow Leopard bugs gets worked out too

I'm a FF user, so no Safari beta for me. I went for the hard shutdown/restart. Resulted in the double restart and all is well.

Have I ever whined? I take my lumps and deal with them. Of course, I have another bootable volume and a current TM backup. There is always a way out for me.

There is now an update to Safari (3.2.3). Doesn't show in SU, though. Oh, included with 10.5.7 apparently.

10.5.7 loaded up and seems to work just fine. MacBozo's hat seems more Panama yellow than before and I am picking up four neighborhood wireless networks instead of just one extra.

I'd say it's the redesign of the tinfoil hat.

Some kind of needed funding, he'll clear it up. I'm swiss cheese brain.

A 107 page one I wrote and four more that I am consulting or letters of support on. The dice get rolled this summer but the Obama stimulus has been stimulating to say the least. Reviewing 36 grants right now. But in the long run I get more rhinestones.

Be sure to wear those rhinestones with a gold lamé uniform. Killer grant props.

Disk Utility NON repairs fixed? I swear I have no more room in the DU window for any more errors that just keeps growing like damn weeds!

I can't remember the last time I ran DU (or needed to run it).

Did the wife's Mini with no complications and I won't have to retrain her later.
