NucleusG4 MasterBlaster Registered: 04/19/02 Posts: 8323 Loc: Miami, Fl.	I have an original quad MP and the drive is acting up. The kb eject button works to open it up...but not close it. I have been going through data discs all day today and pulling images from them for a website. After I am done and try to eject, I get the message that the disc can't be ejected, it's busy. I quit all apps and it's not busy from any app except maybe the Finder. Here's the tell... if I log out to the login window.. everything works fine. Any suggestions? Throw out Finder prefs? MacBozo Nut Dood Registered: 04/20/02 Posts: 16605 Loc: Pinellas Park, Florida	I've had that happen to files when I want to delete them after I've copied to iDisk. Could it be that there is still some network activity that is not releasing the file(s)? _________________________

I've found optical disc usage to be a bit flaky in Leopard. Keyboard button not closing, or opening the tray sometimes, and the disc busy thing too. A plain reboot fixes it for a while for me, no cache cleaning.
