I have created a new folder within the Applications folder. I would like to have the color of the fonts in that folder changed to white. The reason is I like to have a black background for all Sub folders in the Applications folder. Is there a way to do this only for these new folders?

Without a hack, no. But a workaround that may help: set the label for all the files to Gray (or anything). Now the text is at least readable on your black background.

After several searches I found something I used years ago [more than 2 or 3] I don't know if you can get the effect you want but it does colors and text on folders.
Thanks for the ideas I will try them now. Well I right clicked on the first folder and labels was grayed out, how do I access the function. I am the Admin so I have the right.
