So there might be an OSX 11.0, 11.5, 12.0 etc... that'll certainly cause the stock to drop again. "Experts" will figure there's nobody left at Apple that can count and use Roman numerals and write the company off for dead.

Are we talking about updates -vs- new release's ? ?
My point was is that Apple provides more then when it comes to MS SP1 or 2s yada yada .. MS does provide a bunch of security patches but ya scare to shiit to down load it.
They may be planning to sell the "OS X" without the Mac hardware, like MS used to do. The Mac hardware has the best design and the 'chic' factor; i would say it shouldn't have problems competing to keep the Mac user base and expanding it against Dell's & other's hardware.
