John Rougeux Here? Registered: 11/06/08 Posts: 5031	Is it easy to add ram to the new iMacs? I'm just trying to figure out if it would be worth it to (eventually) get one with the max ram ($135 extra) vs adding ram myself, if it's possible.

While installing the new ram, I let go of the iMac for just a second, reached up to make sure the ram was firmly seated and wham...a jolt of static electricity jumped to the new ram. Thought I got lucky and nope, upon start up all I got was this loud beep. Well..off to order one more stick.
