As described in the complaint, Jesse Jackson Jr. only appeared to have promised to help raise funds. That's political horse-trading. That's unseemly. That's also not illegal given the campaign finance laws we have.
Once the full transcripts of these tapes leak, a lot of careers are going to be over. The only way anybody is saved is if Blago cuts a deal, which he has no incentive to do at this point unless the offer is reasonable.
