Maybe he feels Democrats were underhanded in winning the election!!
Do I care?
Is Obama president?
I'm so happy, I don't care if he raised one billion dollars. Shows how much people wanted him as president. I am not rich and even probably in the 'poor' bracket of Americans. But I gave to Hillary AND later Obama. I was desperate! No way could I have another 4 years of a Bush!
So, should there even be "public financing?" The majority of Obama's individual donations were well below the maximum allowed by law.
Back in the early 70s , I was a team leader for the Debate Class on "Campaign Financing" - keep in mind that was a long time ago .
Anyway My thoughts on the matter is that candidates should campaign only on individual donations - once the General Elections start all individual donations should be frozen or stopped and only then public financing is used to level the money pots between all candidates - as we see it now its the other way around
