VarmintBlubber Disgruntled Gruntleman Registered: 02/01/08 Posts: 1240 Loc: YYZ	Hello... I note that the last update of iMacs was in April. Any ideas as to when we can expect to see the latest and greatest out of Cupertino? I ask because we're looking to replace one of our home Macs in the near future and want to know if we should hold on a bit... and if so, how much longer. We're looking at getting a 24" model. Even edyamuhcayted gessis wood be 'preeshated. Cheers! _________________________ Max

DLC I invented modding! Registered: 11/04/02 Posts: 14473 Loc: Lindale, TX (Tyler)	LOTS of rumors floating around, varmit. 2 I like are: 1. Quad core - new Intel i7 CPUs - very fast !! and #2. touch screen like the new HP PC. Don't know if they'll materialize. I think the quad core, whether it's i7 or not, might be more of a sure thing... But I DO think Apple must make significant upgrades to the iMacs to stay competitive... like quad core CPUs and maybe touch screens. IF they wait until the next upgrade time... late 2009 or early 2010, they'll be WAY, WAY behind. BUT who knows ?? .... only S. Jobs ! _________________________ David (OFI) Mitt WHO ??
