That's right....have 3 checkboxes on the Unemployment form under "reason for unemployment:" 1.) Fired 2.) Quit 3.) Left to pursue other interests
My BS detector says Colmes was pushed off H&C...and was thrown a token weekend gig. Hannity just re-negotiated a new deal, Colmes was probably working on his and wasn't satisfied with the cash being thrown his way.
Mr. Colmes will remain at the network as a commentator and will develop a possible weekend program. He will also continue to host his 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. radio show, “The Alan Colmes Show.”
Seems to me that Colmes was only fired from the Hannity show - Not the network - I guess after 12 years there needs to be some changes like fresh blood on the Hannity show , maybe that show ratings were going down hill ?
This might be a great opportunity for Colmes to create and host his own show and since we are talking about Fox anything is possible - How about a new Colmes and Palin Political Hour Show
Maybe he WAS let go... because no one believed that BS format any more except for the rightie Kool-Aid drinkers,... and H&C ratings fell !
Whatza matta, can't Hannity do everything himself ?
I like balanced commentary like on CNN or The News Hour with Shields and Brooks. Russert on MTP used to have pretty good panels. .... not slanted & "set up" "freak shows" like on Faux ! Pro-wrestling was more believable !
HEY...that's IT !
Hannity should come out bare-chested with a nice set of tights.. maybe that'd make him more credible !!
Did you ever notice that whenever they segued to the next guest, it was invariably Colmes who made the introduction---that took up a big part of his minutes, made him look like he was "on" more than he really was.
I remember in Al Franken's book, when he got to discussing Hannity and Colmes, "colmes" was always printed in tiny, footnote-size letters. A nice touch!
