Now it's yellow, Neil.

Uhmmm, did you go to Photoshop or other app and paste ([Ctrl+V] in Windows ;)) it from the clipboard, John? The thing with Windows screenshot is, it doesn't make it into a file right away, like Mac does. Instead, it gets copied onto the clipboard and you have to paste it from there.

I think you set yourself to 'Hide from Who's Online' - it won't change. Change your preferences in My Stuff to this -

ah, nope, didn't do that.

Of course there are no apps on this computer like PS or anything similar.

I'm still seeing the "Online" smiley to the right of your username as yellow, even after a full reload of this page.

And I noticed that just after posting a couple minutes ago, that my own smiley was showing me as offline, which was obviously incorrect.

Curious little buggers, they are!

OK, that makes sense. I will remain a sleeper cell, then.

I have to say, I'm pretty confident this is a local caching issue, but I don't know for sure.

Not sure where to take this one from here...

Thanks!

Neil

You may be invisible online, but your posts show the smile icon.

Actually, that mood icon is something I have no concern about. It could stay or go.

There must be Paint *blech* installed at least as that comes with the OS and that saves stuff in bmp, jpg, gif, png, tiff...

I'm with you, John.

I don't care about that icon, and it could go away AFAIC. If I wanna find out who's online (and I usually don't care either way), I'll just look at the "Who's Online?" list at the top.
