But MSNBC is not "the media," I think. I watch it because I like to have my prejudices massaged. Other things too, but let's stick to prejudices. But i recognize them as prejudices, and would never come to any judgment of anything on the basis of what KO or Rachel Maddow, much as I like her, have to say. I'm sorry that Hillary didn't get the nomination, but on the other hand, i think that she would not have been the best candidate because of the Clinton baggage she'd bring to the campaign. She may have won over McCain--I'm still shocked that Obama won, to tell the truth--but I don't think it would have been a gimme.

Exit poll info as reported by CBS news and won't be believed by anyone here but a few choice.
As voters left the polls on Election Day, many were asked how they would have voted if the election match-up were between Hillary Clinton and John McCain rather than Barack Obama and McCain. 52 percent said they would have backed the former Democratic candidate; 41 percent would have voted for McCain, wider than Obama’s 7-point margin over McCain.
Not that it matters, but makes me smile.
Hillary* supporters were certainly in the minority in this forum, but the same cannot be said for the United States as a whole!
Hillary was shafted in many ways.
*Similarly, the world at large and United States have a much higher opinion of William Jefferson Clinton than a majority of this forum membership have.
Even after Obama wins by more than 8 million votes and recieves 365 EVs ... even after his coat tails expand the Democratic majority in Congress ... even after he runs the must successful presidential campaign in history of the United States ... even after he wins the presidency and the entire world celebrates ...
