In several forum scripts I've admin'ed and played around with, there was a section that allowed the admins to configure a list of HTML tags that are allowed. Anything that wasn't on the list was disallowed.
For instance, on the Adobe Forums, they allow most text formatting and some CSS, but they have [embed] disabled, among a few others.
I'd like to see a definitive list of allowed tags. I know you may not be able to add this info to the default FAQ section, but it'd be nice to see it somewhere, and made permanent & sticky.

Ok ... updated information.
I've been advised by several that having html capabilities for users is a security risk, and that I should turn that off. I've just done that.
That said, there's a ton of formatting tha tyou can do using the Reply (not the Quick Reply), and there are more listed on the FAQ (in the item "What UBBCode can I use in my posts?" that I mentioned earlier).
