I've had my iphone for a week or so now, and all was well - when suddenly the wifi stopped working altogether (instead of saying Wi-Fi Off/On it just said No Wi-Fi). I turned it off overnight and now it's back to Off/On, but it can't find my wifi that's right next to it, and which it was quite happy with up until now.
Oh, and I've never yet been able to find a successful setting to send emails from it. I've tried my existing ISP's settings, I've tried the me.com settings, nothing works. The O2 website's help is a bit ridiculous - it takes you round in loops to where you started, and stuff like that. I'm going to phone them today to see if they can solve either of these issues.
My battery usage is pretty poor here, because the signal is so weak it has to work harder. But it's cute, so who cares if it doesn't work properly, right? :?

Update: O2 confirmed that the iphone is faulty, I have to go and get a replacement. Meanwhile, I've resolved the email issues too, I have to send emails using my O2 email account details (which I don't actually use for anything else), but they arrive with a username@mac.com reply-to address.
Ah, life with cutting-edge technology.

It appears the latest iPhone has an elevated percentage of returns. I know of half a dozen folks with new iPhones which are problematic. I hope the replacements are bullet-proof!

From time to time my iPhone decides it doesn't want me to receive a phone call. A simple on/off fixes this but it is annoying. I don't know the problem exists until after someone tries to call.
I think most of the quirks happen after downloading new apps or doing updates. I've got into the habit now of shutting down my iPhone after the downloads.
My daughter's phone doesn't have the same problem but she has her share of quirks as well.
I must say I'm very disappointed with Apple's quality control with the iPhones. If you have a good one it's fine but so many have had to return their purchase, sometimes multiple times. Not acceptable, IMO.

I've just brought home my replacement iphone and am doing the 10 hour charge-up. Funny business - the chap at O2 iphone tech support said that this was the second phone he'd had reported with this problem, they knew nothing about it there and the first time round, he'd had to google it to se any other examples of the same issue. The woman in the O2 shop was reluctant to replace the phone until she'd proved to herself that it wouldn't work - none of them had ever seen this problem before either, so I guess it's not that common (yet). Seems to be a fault with the communications board inside - some people who have this problem also have no audio (and some people who have this problem only have it after cracking their phone )
Meanwhile, though I've fixed the sending email issue, I've been getting text messages a day after they were sent, which is pretty unusual within the UK. That's an O2 glitch, though.
