I am ready to take -- and accept -- any forum software that works, correctly and fast -- tomorrow!

I do not care what functions of the past or posts I cherish I will have to lose forever. I lost all my bookmark/faves from the MacCentral forum and am now use to it. Kind of like losing the family photos and recordings in a fire. Fond memories just exist in my mind. [such as it is]

The most important thing for me is that all of our MM family know where to gather -- both the active and inactive/ lurkers.

I can't take this slow stuff much longer. It is ridiculous to have the fastest iMac and cable speeds and have to endure this pace.

I'm not blaming anyone or saying you're not doing your very best.

Just want you to know this has gone on way tooo long and I will settle for speed and the heck with the archives!

I agree with you Kate. It has really crawled to a snails pace lately. I hope that the upgrade is coming soon, but I'm sure that Neil has more in his life to worry about than us.

my photos

Hi guys,

Two sets of issues.

First, looks like there's been some Internet connectivity stuff that's a problem for several days. Our ISP has been looking at it.

Second, a bit ago, I started another database dump to send to the new developer for the port. That brought the server to its knees. I've just rebooted it and it seems to be fine now.

Hang in there -- I'm on it, but there's a whole lot more to it than it seems ... especially when you add to it that we have a magazine to run on a daily basis as well.

Thanks!

Neil
